What Is Nanohydroxyapatite?

Thinning Enamel
thinning enamel Your enamel is porous. There are microscopic dentin tubules on the surface of your enamel. Most people's enamel slowly gets thinner as we age due to acidic saliva and whitening teeth with abrasion. This often creates hypersensitivity as the nerves in the dentin become closer to the surface.
NHAP is The Solution
nahp Nano-sized particles of the enamel's building blocks, Hydroxyapatite are able to penetrate and seal the dentin tubules. Alkaline saliva speeds up this process. The result is less sensitivity.
Enamel Repair
nanohydroxyapatite repairs enamel When the dentin tubules are sealed enamel is stronger, and smoother. The smoother surface helps keep plaque from adhering.
Whiter Teeth
smoother enamel and whiter teeth The Nanohydroxyapatite particles on the surface get polished as you brush with a low abrasion toothpaste. The result is a whiter, brilliant smile.

What causes sensitive teeth?

Overbrushing with high-abrasion toothpaste, especially with an electric toothbrush, can result in thinning enamel. If you are using charcoal toothpaste, you will suffer enamel loss. Toothpaste with an RDA of less than 100 is safe with a manual toothbrush.

Your enamel is the protective layer of your teeth. It can last a lifetime when it isn't abused.

Enamel isn't completely solid. It is porous. The pores are called tubules. Thin enamel allows hot or cold liquids to enter the tubules and irritate the nerves in the pulp of the tooth. Most sensitive toothpaste numbs the nerves instead of addressing the cause of sensitivity.

In alkaline saliva, Nanohydroxyapatite re-mineralizes enamel by filling in the tubules in the enamel and dentin. Enamel is 90% hydroxyapatite and dentin is 70% hydroxyapatite.

L-arginine significantly speeds up this process by disrupting plaque production for up to 12 hours. After brushing with our sensitive toothpaste, you will notice that your teeth feel much smoother. The plaque-free enamel tubules are filled with Nanohydroxyapatite, which solidifies, creating a smooth, solid surface of insulation from hot and cold liquids.
