Corn Xylitol vs Birch Xylitol

All Xylitol has the exact same molecular structure. A molecule of Xylitol derived from corn is identical to a molecule derived from birch.

Allergy

People who have an intolerance of corn based products need not worry about the corn derived Xylitol. After the Xylitol is produced there are no corn proteins left over to provide any allergen.

Renewable

Xylitol that is derived from corn uses the cobs that would normally go to waste.

Birch xylitol involves harvesting the bark from birch trees. This in effect is killing the tree. The birch tree is not a good renewable resource as it takes about 15 years before a tree can be harvested.

All factories producing Xylitol require in-house laboratory testing of their final product to certify FDA compliance.
